Our TBR Just Got Weird..er

🎃 Halloween Romance Reads – The Velvet Pages Picks

We never recommend anything we wouldn’t read ourselves. This TBR has range:

  • Dark? ✅

  • Smut? (Probably.)

  • Sweet? Definitely.

  • Spice? We sure hope so.

Here’s what’s on our TBR pile this season:

Book cover for "A Pack for Autumn" by Emilia Emerson shows a cute girl in front of a quaint home walking a bicycle. Pumpkins sit on each side of a front door.

🔥A Pack for Autumn

Update: We read it!

Author: Emilia Emerson

Series: Cozyverse, Book 1

Our Rating: 3.5/5

Pages: 362 pages

Notes: This is a sweet Omegaverse and it does scratch the seasonal itch.

Our Rating: “She's a lonely omega looking to disappear in a small town. They're a pack looking for an omega and she smells like PSL. I really liked the book until it became so patronizing to Olive. They spoke to her like an actual child and it was too much. Also, no one uses "prettily" as an adverb IRL.”

Pages: 172 pages

Notes: The focus for this book is much less on the stripper-like cover art and much more about dealing with loss.
