Oh My, Omegaverse!
We love the Omegaverse.
If you’ve read any number of books and authors in this romance genre, you know that there’s a wiiiiiide range of quality when it comes to the stories and the writing. And really, the most important things are liking the author, then the Omega, then at least 70% of the Alphas and Betas.
For simple definition’s sake, these books are one Omega and 2+ Alphas/Beta Combo. Pack stories.
Honestly, we didn’t realize how many Omegaverse titles we’d read until we started compiling this list. We guessed maybe 20 books, 7 series? We were wrong. It’s nearer to 50 titles and 20 series. We’ve organized things a couple of ways, depending on what you’re looking for:
The titles and series we really like by sub-genre - These are the ones you should add to your TBR.
Our full list of read-and-rated titles, arranged by highest to lowest rating - Anything rated 3.5/5 and above is something we enjoyed so if you’ve been considering a book and it’s got a good rating, go for it. We do have some recs that we actually rated lower than 3.5/5. That just means the story wasn’t for us, but that it made an impact. Nothing is absolute, even in our own rating system.
OMEGAVERSE RECS - WHAT TO READ NEXT
Academic/University + Omegaverse
Really, this is just the one series—Ironside Academy by Jane Washington. So far, it’s 6 books long. We’ve read 4 of them and plan to keep going. We just finished all 6! The series takes a crazy turn in book 4 and you’ll be hooked. Book 5 is the best in the series - smutty and substantial plot. Also, the only series we’ve encountered with like 10 Alphas in this pack and more distinctions than your standard Omega, Alpha, Beta.
Dark + Omegaverse
This genre is a mix of Mafia, dark themes, and bully. This is probably our biggest collection of recs. Read into that what you will.
Most our recs here are self-explanatory based on the rating, but here are a couple that you should read that we didn’t love. That’s because they’re memorable: Knot the One They Want and Knot Your Damn Omega. The stories themselves didn’t do it for us, but they’re strong Omegaverse cannon and twisted stories.
Fantasy + Omegaverse
Yeah, Omegaverse by itself is probably already Fantasy. But these take it to another level. Stolen by Wolves is a Viking tale and The Queen’s Line is a wild take on Omegaverse where she as a member of the royal family and must replenish the land and people…by creating her own reverse harem. They’re both highly unique stories. They’re also series premieres, we just haven’t read any further.
Small Town + Omegaverse
There’s really just one series that fits this category: The Cozyverse anthology. There are 2 books out, with a third planned for 2026. The books are sweet and they’re worth reading. We found there to be a lot of placating the Omega, humoring her. Maybe you like that. If you do, this series will scratch that itch.
Sports + Omegaverse
We’ve read two series we really like:
One Pucked Omegaverse by Sarah Blue (3 books, we’ve read 2)
MVP: Most Valuable Pack by Ari Wright (5 books)
Sweet + Omegaverse
The first book in the Royalverse is really the only one that fully fits here. Genuinely adorable. Yes, there’s drama and strife, but it resolves itself without constant toil and it’s what you’d want from a Cinderella retelling.
